Artist’s Room - An initiative by CPPA
Conceptualised by CPPA - Centre for Peace & Performign Arts , Artist’s Room is an exploration into what lies behind the making of an artist through the unmaking of their art. At its core, the platform/space seeks to uncover the experiences that enable an individual to evolve into an artist. Through performances, discourse and observation, the platform seeks to understand art through the artist, and the artist through their art - bringing artistic practice into a wider discourse while exploring how art develops and continues to grow in and of itself.
The event is conceptualized as an intimate and interactive setup, where 2–3 artists from varied artistic forms come together to explore their art with the audience and fellow artists. CPPA comes to Odisha for the very first time with a never-before-done collaboration between Opera and the Gita Govinda.
Tickets for Artists’s Room - 27th September - 6:30pm onwards are now live !
